Shahrzad Pourabdollah teaches mental and emotional health webinars at Tavaana.
She completed her studies in social sciences and psychotherapy in Belgium and holds a degree in Systematic Psychotherapy. She also received the Advanced Diploma in Couples Therapy from NAOS Institute of London, UK. Currently, she is completing a course in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy in London, UK. Her professional experience encompasses working with families, women, and children over the past two decades. She has especially worked with migrant families and female victims of domestic violence and victims of human trafficking.
Pourabdollah has published widely on the above subjects and has been an expert contributor and program participant on various TV networks such as BBC, Manoto-TV, and Voice of America. She was also the main presenter in a twenty-episode TV series on mental health on the Persian speaking Kahkashan Satellite TV channel.
Shahrzad Pourabdollah is also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a member of the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP).
