Arsham Parsi is Iran’s leading gay rights activist. He has helped countless LGBT Iranians, their families and the Iranian public at large to come to terms with the full spectrum of sexuality and press for equality. Through his organization the Iranian Railroad for Queer Refugees, he has provided assistance to Iranians fleeing repression and has counseled many as they rebuild their lives. Mr. Parsi teaches Tavaana’s “LGBT Rights Advocacy” e-course. His first book, Exiled for Love, was published in 2015.
