Brittany Hamzy is a Tavaana project manager and avid human rights advocate. Before joining ECCE, she conducted research regarding human trafficking in the Arab Gulf region. She also fostered youth activism to resolve conflict with Seeds of Peace and helped counter discrimination with the Council on American-Islamic Relations. She received a BA in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies from New York University and an MA in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from SOAS, University of London. Her work has been published on platforms such as openDemocracy and Newsweek.
