Hossein Raeesi teaches Tavaana’s webinar series on Children’s Rights and Labor Rights in Iran. Mr. Raeesi graduated with a law degree from Shiraz University in 1991. As a student, he became interested in human rights and pursued both activism and a career in this field. After graduation, he began working as an attorney and founded the Neda-ye Edalat (Voice of Justice) legal association in Shiraz with the aim of allowing the call of justice to be heard in society. He currently resides in Ontario, Canada and has served as a legal advisor to the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center since September 2012.
